Last winter, I experienced a phase during which I questioned my path as an artist and whether I was heading in the right direction. Consequently, I chose to retreat into nature for a few days, seeking solitude to reconnect with myself and my creative process.
In an effort to rekindle my artistic spark, I brought along my super8 camera and began documenting my surroundings. It felt reminiscent of my early days as a filmmaker, when I simply captured scenes without any specific agenda, allowing myself to be guided by instinct.
I hesitated to share this video for quite some time, as it delves into deeply personal territory. It’s often easier to discuss our triumphs rather than our struggles. However, I now feel compelled to share it, and so I offer it to you.
I want to express my gratitude to Onyx Chladilová for showcasing this video at Quantum Oddity Gallery as part of the group exhibition „MESH.“ It was truly an honor to exhibit alongside such talented artists, and their support has emboldened me to present my work to a wider audience.
